1. The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) in the 2017 Report of the Economic Survey has reported that in 2016 the average cost for the Preparation and Filing of a NON-Provisional Patent Application of minimal complexity was $7,000.00; for applications with higher complexity the reported costs range between $9,000 to $11,000.00. See: https://www.aipla.org

2. The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) in the 2017 Report of the Economic Survey has reported that in 2016 the average cost for each amendment during the prosecution of a patent application of relative complexity was $2,000.00 to $3,500.00; considering at least two amendments/ responses to Office Action, the cost of prosecution services results in approximately twice such amounts: $4,000.00 to $7,000.00; which is much higher that the flat prosecution costs presented herein.

3. The USPTO Official Fees may increase by Official determination. Professional costs herein presented are flat – or fixed-fees and for inventions having simple or moderate complexity and not included costs or preparation of drawings, bank transferences costs; or other costs such as petitions, appeals, postage and delivering services; such services will be charge to the Client at an hourly rates of $125.00 per hour for Small and Micro entities and $275.00 per hour for large entities. For complex invention Clients should request a quote.

7. Professional Costs herein are offered for Micro and Small entities excluding Universities or Government entities, regardless that the USPTO classification for said Universities or Government entities may be Micro or Small. 8. Professional Costs for Preparing and Filing the Application are to be paid in full at the moment the contracting and prior to start with the preparation of the application.

9. Prosecution Costs include notifications of and responses to Office Actions on behalf of the Client until the Office declare a final rejection. Request for Continued Examination or any other services intended to continue with or reopen the examination of an application after the Final Rejection is declared are not included in said charges.

10. Prosecution costs are to be paid in full within a month of receiving the first Office Action, it may approximately eighteen months after filing the application.

11. Prosecution costs for Applications filed as received (Table I) are those indicated herein depending on the complexity of the Application, see Prosecution Cost in table II and Table III.

12. After Allowance Costs- Official and Professional fees-are to be paid in full within a month of receiving the Notice of Allowance, and it includes a review of the allowed Application, Official Fee transmittal and sending payment confirmation to the Client. It does not included delivering of the Patent document to the Client, Assignments, Maintenance Fees Costs, Petitions, or any other extra service.
